As the people of Hindupuram Assembly Constituency in Andhra Pradesh are facing the impact of COVID second wave and looking for support, Dr VSB Bandi & Dr T Annapurna of Arshi Skin & Hair Clinic has come forward to donate immunity boosting medicine for them on the behest of Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna, Chairman Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute and also MLA, Hindupuram Assembly, Andhra Pradesh.
Further the donors also decided to extend their helping hand to patients fighting with cancer at BIACH&RI. As these patients are known to have reduced immunity due to the disease, the donors have decided to donate the immunity boosting medicines for these patients also.
Accordingly Dr. VSB Bandi & Dr T Annapurna of Arshi Skin & Hair Clinic has donated the medicines worth of Rs. 30 Lakhs today and handed over the same to Dr RV Prabhakara Rao, CEO, BIACH&RI in its premises.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr VSB Bandi and Dr T Annapurna has said that they have decided to extend their helping hand to people of Hindupur assembly constituency as Hindupur is one of the worst hit constituencies in Andhra Pradesh and it is becoming a herculean task to the people as it is also known as one of the most backward areas of the state. Further they hoped that this small gesture will strengthen the hands of Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is forefront of fight against COVID at Hindupuram Assembly.
Later speaking on the occasion, Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna has thanked Dr VSB Bandi and Dr T Annapurna of Arshi Skin & Hair Clinic for the donation. He hoped that these medicines will be very much useful to the people of HIndupuram Assembly Constituency and also for patients fighting with Cancer at BIACH&RI. He explained that these medicines will be immediately distributed to the needy.
