Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna Celebrates 58th Birthday amidst children fighting with cancer and among hundreds of fans

Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna, MLA, Hindupuram Assembly; Chairman, Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Cine Star has celebrated his 58th Birthday amidst children fighting with cancer today at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute premises. The celebration was attended by hundreds of his fans came from different parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka & Maharashtra.

After reaching cancer hospital to participate in the celebrations, Sri N Balakrishna paid homage to Late Sri & Smt Nandamuri Basavataraka Rama Rao by garlanding their statues. This was followed by inauguration of a blood bank organized by NBK Helping Hands at the hospital. After inaugurating the camp, Sri Balakrishna visited the camp and appreciated those participating in blood donation camp. More than 500 members have donated blood on this occasion.

Later he had participated cake cutting event organized by fans along with children fighting with cancer in the hospital. Surrounded by children and fans, Sri Balakrishna cut the cake and shared them with the children and others. During the event he had interacted with the children and enquired about their well being.

Later speaking on the occasion, Sri Balakrishna appreciated efforts of his fans, who were standing in forefront to help the society by organizing several social, service oriented projects and programs. While appreciating the efforts of cancer hospital in providing quality cancer care to those fighting with cancer, Sri Balakrishna announced that a new facility will come up at Amaravathi in 15 acres allotted by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Further speaking on the occasion, Sri Balakrishna hoped that two telugu speaking states despite being divided will prosper and grow. While remembering Late NTR’s entry into politics, Sri Balakrishna has assured that he will also work for self respect of Telugu speaking people. He also expressed happiness over organizing such a big blood donation camp by NBK Helping Hands on this occasion.

Earlier Sri Balakrishna was greeted by Sri Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, Hon’ble Speaker, AP Assembly and Trust Board Member, BIACH&RI; Sri JSR Prasad, Trust Board Member, BIACH&RI along with Dr RV Prabhakar Rao, CEO, BIACH&RI; Dr Subramanyeswara Rao, Medical Director, BIACH&RI; Dr Kalpana Raghunath, MS, BIACH&RI; Dr Sumathi, AO, BIACH&RI along with doctors, staff members on the occasion.
