Express Avenue continues to care for safety & wellbeing of its employees, total 700+ employees vaccinated

Express Avenue Mall, Chennai’s award winning fashion and entertainment mall, organized a second vaccination drive for 18+ as part of their commitment & responsibility towards their important stakeholders on ground i.e. their retail store employees considered to be Frontline workers. 400+ additional jabs were given to people at the second vaccination drive. Previously, about 300+ employees were inoculated at the first vaccination drive conducted earlier in May, bringing the total to 700+.

To accomplish our target of inoculating all our frontline workers the second vaccination drive is being conducted over the 2 days- 31st May – Monday and 1st June – Tuesday in Express Avenue.

As always, all necessary safety precautions such as mandatory wearing of mask, frequent sanitization of hands & maintaining social distancing were implemented at the mall to ensure a smooth flow.

In order to ensure 100% efficacy of this unique initiative they made it mandatory for all store employees to get vaccinated in order to continue working in the stores in Express Avenue.

Sharing her thoughts about the activity, Mrs Kavita Singhania, MD Express Avenue “After the successful first vaccination drive we were committed to inoculate the entire mall’s frontline workers as they are the pillars on which EA stands. We were fortunate to be able to collaborate and work out upon the 2nd Vaccination drive to accomplish on our goal of inoculating the entire Mall. In unprecedented times like these, we feel privileged to be able to play our role as a responsible organization to take care of our employees and secure their health & future. Now our next goal is to ensure that we successfully accomplish on a timely basis conducting the second jabs as well.”
