Two day Global Ignite international Conference at Hitex
The two day Global Ignite 2021, a conference on accelerating digital transformation has concluded today. The valedictory meeting was held today evening for which Dr Sangeetha Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group has attended as Guest of Honour.
Addressing the large number of students, IT workers Dr Sangeetha Reddy has explained that way digital technology has helped a small villager to get advanced health care by using Internet, Video Conferencing etc. She appreciated the measures undertaken by Government of India especially for implementing Ayushman Bharath and also using technology for COVID vaccination are the great examples of how the digital technology has transformed the healthcare services and its delivery. She also acknowledged the role played by digital technologies not only in health care but also in various other aspects related to human day to day life. She asked the students community to play a major in accelerating digital transformation in variety of activities thus enabling people at last mile and at remotest corner of the nation.
Earlier the second day of the conference begun with a session called Global Rendezvous where in consul general’s representing South Korea, Bulgaria, Republic of Mali and Lesotho has participated in give a perspective of digital transformation happening in their respective nations.
Later at the concluding session, Dr Sangeetha Reddy has presented awards to various people working in the field of innovation of technologies.
