Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute Has celebrated 97th Birthday of Late Sri NT Rama Rao
World renowned actor, founder of Telugu Desam Party, Former Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Late sri NT Rama Rao’s 97th Birthday was celebrated in the premises of BIACH&RI in a grand manner. As Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna, Chairman, BIACH&RI has to attend the birthday celebrations of Late Sri NTR in his assembly constituency Hindupur where he was elected second time, Smt Nara Brahmani has participated in the celebrations held at Hospital.
On this occasion, Smt. Nara Brahmani accompanied by other officials, doctors of the hospital has paid rich tributes to Sri & Smt NT Rama Rao by garlanding their statues situated in the premises of BIACH&RI. Later Smt. Brahmani accompanied by members of senior management of the Hospital has distributed fruits to poor patients getting treated in the hospital. While distributing the fruits to patients, Smt Brahmani has enquired their well beings and also tried to understand their problems. She also assured quality services to them on behalf of hospital.
Later speaking on the occasion, Smt Brahmani has appreciated the efforts of BIACH&RI in providing world class cancer care at affordable rates. She hoped that the hospital will reach new heights as envisioned by Late NTR in order to establish as leader in cancer care. While remembering the vision and role played by Late NTR in establishing such a facility to help the needy in this region.
Along with Smt Nara Brahmani, the celebration were attended by Sri JSR Prasad, Member, Trust Board, BIACH&RI; Dr RV Prabhakar Rao, CEO, BIACH&RI; Sri G Ravi Kumar, COO, BIACH&RI; Dr TS Rao, Medical Director, BIACH&RI; Dr Koteswara Rao, MS, BIACH&RI; Dr Kalpana Raghunath, Associate Director, BIACH&RI along with other doctors, staff members of the hospital.
After paying rich tributes to its founder, the staff members of the hospital has distributed fruits to patients getting treated under Arogyasri health scheme along with children fighting with cancer in pediatric ward.
