Suhani Pittie – A Quite Revolutionary in Design
Enlisted by the World Gold Council as the top 10 most inventive and ingenious jewellery designers in the world, this graduate from the Gemological Institute of America established her own training institute at the young age of twenty and is most recently a recipient of the Woman Entreprenuer of the Year 2017 award by the Retail Guild, India. She is also a recipient of the prestigious ‘Artisan Award 2015‘ by GJEPC and the ‘Singem Award for Excellence’ (gemology). Most recently, Suhani also received the Devi Award by The New Indian Express for Innovation & Dynamism. Enlisted by the prestigious Femina magazine in their “35 most powerful women in India, under 35″ list, Suhani was also written about in Fortune magazine as one of the five people to watch out for, in India. Been enlisted as one of the youngest Youth Icons of Andhra Pradesh by Passionate Foundation, Suhani has also been felicitated with the Young Women Achievers Award 2012 for her contribution to fashion by YFLO (Young FICCI Ladies Organization). Most recently, she has received the GJTCI Award of Excellence, presented by the Karnataka Governor

Included in the coveted “Cool list of 30” by Grazia, she has been in many Best Dressed lists in the country, year after year. Most recently, Hi! Blitz enlisted Suhani as 1 of India’s Top 50 Game Changers. Elle magazine credits the designer for changing India’s perspective towards precious jewellery. Iconic auto brand Audi and south India’s leading magazine Ritz conferred upon Suhani the Audi Ritz Icon 2012 award.
The designer recently recieved critical acclaim from around the globe for her path breaking interpretation of the displacement crisis via her show, Nowhere People at Lakme Fashion Week.
